EVENT OVERVIEW

Explore-a-thon is an interactive and magical day of play, experimentation, and discovery for children and families. Following an interactive route that traverses Rye Town Park and the Playland boardwalk just steps from construction site of the future Museum, children and families will discover and enjoy hands-on "Exploration Stations" modeled after future museum exhibits.

Past groups include the Port Chester Carver Center and the Westhab Shelter in White Plains. Explorer Buddies are encouraged to donate $100 per child or $1,000 for a group and attend the event, although they are not required to attend.
