Toddler & Me

Held on Sunday mornings before the Museum opens, this program offers toddlers a chance to explore, connect, and grow through hands-on experiences in a calm, developmentally appropriate setting.

Overview

Each enriching session includes:

  • Puppet play and interactive storytelling

  • Sensory-rich free play activities

  • Music and movement

  • Educational toys 

  • Opportunities for socialization with other toddlers and caregivers

Because the program is a small group, limited to up to 12 toddlers with their adult, caregivers are supported in engaging meaningfully with their children in a uniquely, ow-pressure, welcoming environment.

Program Highlights & Features

  • Music: Simple instruments like egg shakers, tambourines, & rhythm sticks.

  • Sensory Play: Soft textured materials, scarves, water play (optional), and themed items like bubble machines.

  • Story Time: Short books or rhymes that support early literacy and language.

  • Parental Engagement: Tips or prompts for interaction and play at home.

Target Audience

Toddlers aged 19–36 months and their caregivers (1 adult per toddler encouraged)
Maximum Capacity: ~12 toddler-caregiver pairs

Please note: This program is for toddlers only. Older or younger siblings may join you after the Museum opens at 9:30 AM.
