Our plans, designed by Westchester’s own Learn’ique, are set within our Long Island Sound facing gallery, featuring a cohesive theme that ties together flexible, universal‑design stations that withstand continuous, high‑touch use and support mixed abilities and neurodiversity. Honoring our location on the Sound, the vision of the design aims to bring the outside in so children may experience a sense of place that is uniquely ours.

Research Driven, Designed by Educational & Museum Experts

  • Constructed with various textures, sounds, and sights to help develop cognitive and motor skills

  • Structured to encourage reaching, grasping, crawling, and walking to build physical abilities and coordination

  • Designed for talking, singing, and reading to support learning language and encourage social interaction

Your support will help us create this immersive play space for the next generation to come.  To learn more, we invite you to review the plans together with us.

At this time the Westchester Children's Museum Toddler Beach Committee is actively seeking leading donors to help us achieve our fundraising goal of $400K for the revitalization of our cherished toddler exhibit.  Please contact Laura Rosenthal, Development Director, at 914-420-7135 or lrosenthal@discoverwcm.org to discuss how you can make an impact.
