Research Driven, Designed by Early Childhood Education and & Museum Experts

  • Constructed with various textures, sounds, and sights to help develop cognitive and motor skills

  • Structured to encourage reaching, grasping, crawling, and walking to build physical abilities and coordination

  • Designed for talking, singing, and reading to support learning language and encourage social interaction

Our design plans, developed by Westchester’s own Learn’ique, are set within our Long Island Sound facing gallery, featuring a cohesive theme that ties together flexible, universal‑design stations that withstand continuous, high‑touch use and support mixed abilities and neurodiversity. Honoring our location on the Sound, the vision of the design aims to bring the outside in so children may experience a sense of place that is uniquely ours.
