A rendering of the future toddler beach, an interactive, tactile, sensory-rich, seaside-themed gallery that overlooks the Boardwalk and the Long Island Sound. Designed by Learn’ique, based in Rye, NY.
We are proud to share that we now have plans that
re-imagine our beloved Toddler Beach play space. Our vision is to create an immersive, crawl‑to‑climb early childhood environment that welcomes children from birth through pre‑K alongside their caregivers to explore cause‑and‑effect, texture, sound, and motion in safe, developmentally rich ways.
Our plans, designed by Westchester’s own Learn’ique, are set within our Long Island Sound facing gallery, featuring a cohesive theme that ties together flexible, universal‑design stations that withstand continuous, high‑touch use and support mixed abilities and neurodiversity. Honoring our location on the Sound, the vision of the design aims to bring the outside in so children may experience a sense of place that is uniquely ours.
