Yoga & Me

Held on Saturday mornings before the Museum opens, this yoga program invites young school-aged children to move, stretch, and have fun together in a friendly and supportive setting. Classes take place in our sunny, carpeted Physics Lab, with yoga mats and props provided for each child. Through poses, active games, and gentle breathing, children explore how their bodies move, connect with peers, and begin learning simple tools for focus and calm.

Children are encouraged to participate in socks or bare feet.

Dates: Saturdays, March 7, 14, 21, 28
Time: 9:00AM – 9:30 AM
Duration: 30 minutes
Frequency: Weekly
Limited to 12 children
Location: Physics Lab

Overview

Each enriching session includes:

  • Sensory-rich free play activities

  • Music and movement

  • Opportunities for socialization with other toddlers and caregivers

Because the program is a small group, limited to up to 12 children with their adult, caregivers are supported in engaging meaningfully with their children in a uniquely, ow-pressure, welcoming environment.
