When the school calendar has a gap, Westchester Children's Museum has you covered. Our School Day-Off Camps offer children ages 5–10 a full day of hands-on STEAM workshops, creative crafts, and exclusive playtime in the museum—all in a safe, supervised, and inspiring environment.

Drop off your camper for a day of exploration and pick up a happy, engaged kid at the end of it. It's the perfect solution for working parents and a refreshing change of pace for kids who are ready to learn through play.

Overview

Westchester Children's Museum's School Day-Off Camps are full-day drop-off programs designed for children ages 5–10. Offered on select school holidays throughout the year, each camp runs from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM (with early drop-off options available) and packs the day with hands-on STEAM workshops, creative crafts, and exclusive playtime in the museum.

Led by our experienced educators, Day-Off Camps give kids a chance to explore, build, and create in a fun, supervised setting—while giving parents a reliable childcare solution when school is closed. Simply pack a nut-free lunch and a water bottle, and we'll take care of the rest.

Spots are limited, so early registration is encouraged.

Registration covers one child for the full 5.5-hour drop-off program and includes museum entrance.

  • Non-Members: $150

  • Late Pick-Up Fee: $20 for the first 10 minutes; $10 for each additional minute.

Please note: To ensure a smooth experience for all campers and staff, we strictly enforce our late pick-up policy.

Cancellation Policy

Registration fees are non-refundable as long as the program reaches the minimum number of registrants. In the event of a cancellation of the session due to weather or other incident, your registration credit will be used for the rescheduled instance of the workshop.
