Young Discoverers

It’s September and time to make new friends!!   Friends are family that you choose!
Children will hear the story  “Friends”  by Helme Heine
Let’s talk about what a good friend does and how we take care of our friends.
Children will learn a fingerplay and song about friends. With our Grand Finale Craft to take home Children will discover color mixing – holding hands to mix colors and make a friendship wreath.  Red, Yellow and Blue are great alone, but when you mix these colors together you create something beautiful – just as when 2 individuals come together they create FRIENDSHIP!

A weekly science-based "drop-in" program designed for children 2-5 Simple experiments and craft projects all add to the excitement of learning something new. Every month will feature a new theme
