Exploring Play: What Happens When We Sleep 😴

What happens to our bodies while we sleep and how important is it to go to sleep at bedtime? Children will hear a story and learn a poem about sleep. A special craft project and picture game will bring the science of day and night to life. Discussions about animals who sleep at night and animals who sleep during the day will introduce new vocabulary words ie: nocturnal.

Exploring Play, held on Friday mornings, is designed for children ages 2 to 4. Every month will feature a new theme brought to life for young children through creative and fun movement activities; song; story and a take home project for all. Parents and caregivers are provided with information on the latest developments in Play research for young children. Come join the fun!
