Come Join Meera Agarwal, Rye artist and instructor, for a mixed media collage workshop! In this workshop children will be shown a fun way to create art and express themselves using paint, found objects, interesting paper, magazines cut outs and fabric etc. Children will create a collage that can be just a free flowing exercise or something powerful and meaningful. Students will learn about color, composition and perspective through this process.

About the Artist
Rye artist & art instructor, Meera Agarwal, has been painting for three decades and works in oil, acrylic and mixed media. Her abstract and representational paintings are inspired by nature, her native vibrant India, and travels. Meera’s work is routinely juried into prominent exhibits in the tri-state area. Meera is also an Art-o-Mat artist - creates art for art vending machines placed throughout the U.S. She is also an active community volunteer serving several local nonprofits in Westchester county.
